The supplies are very accessible at Northern Brewer, and customers are welcome to measure out their own grains and select their own materials. The staff are very helpful, both over the phone and in person.

Midwest Homebrewing is a brewing supply based in St. Louis Park, MN. Midwest is home not only to brewing and winemaking supplies, but is also a storefront for a hydroponic gardening supply. The store is quite cluttered, and is also the location for their mailorder business (Northern Brewer maintains a separate location for their mailorder business). Despite the outer appearance, however, the staff are very helpful and one can find hardware and other various supplies at a lower price than at Northern Brewer.
